Important note:

Smerno Retail Stores are independently owned and operated; all warranty claims and returns needs to be directed to the original store where the items were purchased.

7 Day Return Policy

The return of Certified Renewed devices will not be considered based on the cosmetic condition of an item as all hardware items are advertised as pre-owned and the cosmetic condition has been declared within the product description field.

Certified Renewed devices may show signs of prior use including scratches, dents, tiny spots, and discolouration on the display, and other reasonable imperfections associated with functional personal electronics.

In case of a return, the device needs to be returned with the original, undamaged packaging with the proof of purchase and in the same overall condition as at the time of purchase.

Should you wish to return your device within the 7 day return period, please notify us by sending an email to hello@smerno.com. Please include your order number and reason for the return in your email correspondence. Any courier charges for the return of the item will be for your account.

Once we have received the device and we are happy with the condition we will refund you.

Repair or Replace Warranty – 6 Months

Your online purchase is covered by our 6 Month Repair or Replace Warranty. This warranty exclusively covers hardware failure.

In case of any functional defect arising during the covered period, Smerno reserves the right to amend repairs to the device, if repairs are not possible or successful, offer a replacement unit of similar specification and equal value. Your warranty does not cover damage resulting from impact, water damage, or misuse.

Warranty Items Included:
– Hardware Failure;
– Malfunction;
– Manufacturer Defects;

The warranty is a “carry-in” warranty. We do not offer an on-site or collection service. If this is your requirement and can be arranged, there will be at an additional cost.

Specific Exclusions:
– Any damage or loss that can be considered a possible insurance claim. This will include, but not be limited to theft, water damage, malicious damage, impact damage such as damage resulting from the dropping of a device;
– Data recovery;
– Software;

Accessory Sales

All accessories are covered under warranty by the original distributor and may be subject to the submission of a warranty claim before a successful settlement/claim can be processed. Warranty periods may vary. Please note that the warranty does not cover damage or misuse.

Changes To Our Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on this Website. Your continued use of the Website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the Updated Terms and Conditions.
